CHANNELS EXPLAINED

How concurrent capacity works.

A channel represents one active inbound or outbound call. Your account includes one complimentary channel, regardless of how many numbers it has. If you need ten simultaneous calls, add nine channels for £9 per month.

Example: 3 numbers (£6) + 9 additional channels (£9) + 1 complimentary account channel = 10 simultaneous calls for £15/month excluding VAT and usage.

Keep an existing UK number

UK number porting costs £10 + VAT per number. Start the online request from the Sipflex portal and have a current bill showing the number ready.

Questions about pricing.

Does every number include a channel?

No. Channel capacity is separate from phone numbers. The account includes one complimentary concurrent channel in total, and each additional channel costs £1 per month.

What is the difference between a number and a channel?

A number is the telephone number people call. A channel determines how many calls can be active at the same time.

Are inbound calls included?

Inbound calls to standard Sipflex numbers are free. Usage charges apply to toll-free numbers such as 0800.

Can I change capacity later?

Yes. Channel capacity can be adjusted through the Sipflex portal or API as your requirements change.

Do I need a calling bundle?

No. You can use pay-as-you-go calling or add a monthly global calling bundle.

Can I port an existing UK number?

Yes. UK number porting costs £10 + VAT per number. In the Sipflex portal, go to Account → Numbers → Port an existing number. You will need a current bill showing the number being transferred.

Are prices inclusive of VAT?

Headline prices exclude VAT. The calculator shows both excluding-VAT and including-VAT totals.
